Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Ready2Move.uk. These Terms and Conditions govern the use of our services, including removals within London, across the UK, and to Europe. By using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms.

1. Definitions
  • “Company” refers to Ready2Move.uk.
  • “Customer” refers to any person or business requesting removal services from the Company.
  • “Services” refers to all removal, packing, and transportation services provided by the Company.
2. Booking and Payment
  • 2.1 All bookings must be confirmed in writing or through the Company’s online system.
  • 2.2 A deposit may be required to secure the booking. This amount will be communicated to the Customer at the time of booking.
  • 2.3 The remaining balance is due upon completion of the service, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • 2.4 Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit/debit card, or other approved methods.
3. Free Quotes
  • 3.1 The Company offers free, no-obligation quotes. Quotes are based on the information provided by the Customer and may be subject to revision should the scope of the job change.
  • 3.2 Quotes provided are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
4. Cancellations
  • 4.1 Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled service may incur a cancellation fee.
  • 4.2 Cancellations must be confirmed in writing, either via email or through the Company’s contact system.
5. Liability and Insurance
  • 5.1 The Company is fully insured for removals. This includes goods in transit and public liability insurance.
  • 5.2 The Company’s liability for loss or damage to goods is limited to the amount covered by the insurance policy. Copies of insurance policies are available upon request.
  • 5.3 The Company is not liable for the following:
    • Damage to goods not properly packed by the Customer.
    • Loss of items not disclosed in the inventory or those left behind unintentionally.
    • Delays due to factors beyond the Company’s control, such as traffic or weather conditions.
6. Packing and Materials
  • 6.1 The Company provides packing services upon request. Customers must notify the Company if they require this service when booking.
  • 6.2 If the Customer chooses to pack their own items, the Company is not responsible for any damage caused due to improper packing.
  • 6.3 Packing materials supplied by the Company will be charged separately, unless included in the quotation.
7. Delays and Waiting Time
  • 7.1 The Company will make every effort to arrive at the scheduled time; however, delays may occur due to traffic, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances.
  • 7.2 Waiting time charges may apply if delays are caused by the Customer, such as delayed access to the property.
8. Access and Parking
  • 8.1 It is the Customer’s responsibility to ensure adequate access and parking for the removal vehicle(s) at both collection and delivery locations.
  • 8.2 The Customer is responsible for obtaining any necessary parking permits or permissions required for the removal.
9. Customer Responsibilities
  • 9.1 The Customer must ensure that all goods to be moved are ready for collection at the agreed time.
  • 9.2 The Customer must inform the Company of any fragile, high-value, or unusual items requiring special care.
  • 9.3 The Customer is responsible for dismantling any large furniture unless the dismantling service has been pre-arranged with the Company.
10. Exclusions

The Company will not move the following items unless previously agreed:

  • Hazardous materials.
  • Perishable goods.
  • Items exceeding safe lifting limits without appropriate equipment.
  • Illegal items or substances.
11. Complaints
  • 11.1 Any complaints regarding the service must be made in writing within 7 days of the completion of the service.
  • 11.2 The Company will aim to resolve all complaints promptly and fairly.
12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

13. Amendments

The Company reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon being posted on the Company’s website.
